Nowadays, The eighth curriculum revolution carried out in our foundational education domain conforms to the development and requirement of our society. Under the guidance of new curriculum theories, the curriculum content and structure have transformed a lot. For example, the new reform strengthens the relationship between students'life and scientific development. It also sets up the courses of moral character and life, art, science and practice in order to adapt to the requirements of different areas. All these above embodies balance, comprehensiveness and selection of curriculum structure. In order to fit the request of foundational education reform to higher teachers'college, we must change the old-fashioned and unreasonable current situation, build a new curriculum system, cultivate qualified teachers and ensure the implement of foundational education curriculum.This essay can be divided into four parts. The first part states the characteristics of the new foundational education curriculum reform from the aspects of course innovation, course function, course content course structure and course management, etc. The second part discusses the new requirements to teachers in educational concept, role, knowledge structure and professional ability. The third part puts forward the challenges to our current elementary education undergraduate specialty. It analyzes the limits of our current elementary education undergraduate specialty and stresses the necessity of the construction of specialized subjects in higher teacher's colleges'elementary education undergraduate course. The fourth part takes the request of foundational education curriculum as the central clue and constructs a new curriculum system. Firstly, it locates the cultivating goal exactly and builds up a curriculum concept for elementary education undergraduate specialty. Secondly, it discusses the constructing principle of the new curriculum system. Thirdly, it states the installing situation, the classification and proportion of various courses. It also says the installation of elective courses and activity curriculum. Its purpose is to embody the hither education's generality, personality and characteristics. The new reform requires us to combine the required course with elective course, activity course, practice course and special subject lectures in curriculum form. It also asks us to set reasonable curriculum proportions in course structure and combine theory teaching with skill training, educational practice and scientific research, etc.Certainly, this essay is limited in theory study. It needs further inspection in practice.
