Since 1970's, internet became"the fourth media"after newspaper, broadcast and TV. Not all information is good and much inappropriate information has come into our life. On the other hand, nowadays more and more students know much inappropriate information. Many adolescent crimes which have happened and are hidden are to a large extent related to this.Therefore it is badly needed to study the current situation about dealing with inappropriate information of students in high school and improve their abilities about it. Students in high school are the easiest to influence because of their unique personalities, so it is especially important to improve their abilities about dealing with inappropriate information.The article consists of four sections. It centers in how to deal with inappropriate information. It has specialized the objectives, enriched the contents and improved the curriculum system of information ethics education in primary school. It has a specific meaning to the theories and implement of information ethics education.The first section of article demonstrates the meaning and harm, the spread ways of inappropriate information. According to the students'characteristics, it explored the features, contents and principles of dealing with inappropriate information in high school which makes theoretical bedding for the further research.The second part mainly deals with the current situation and distinguishing features of students in high school in dealing inappropriate information. In order to achieve this, much research has been done from three various angles, such as from the current law, current teachers and current students. Their features are as follows: First, with computers coming into almost every family, the number of the students who like to surf internet is becoming larger and larger. Second, both teachers and parents know little about information ethics. Third, students have met a lot of inappropriate information. Fourth, students haven't fully understood inappropriate information. Fifth, students deal with inappropriate information not well. Sixth, knowledge about inappropriate information is hardly found in current IT textbooks. Seventh, most students have the strong desire to learn it.The third section demonstrates the purpose of inappropriate information, the contents of it and the principle about how to design the teaching, based on the research result, the current IT textbooks and the system of inappropriate information itself. Teaching examples are developed and teaching practice is done on the basis of theories.The fourth section of article made several suggestions on the objectives, contents and teaching and learning design: First, teaching and learning objectives should be laid on objectives of educational attitudes and values. Second, information ethics education should solve the students'practical problem. Third, design the supported tools during the learning process. Fourth, ensure an impersonal and just remark to the students with the synthetic use of evaluating methods and tools.
