High-school teaching of biology is a subject based on experiments. Experiments stand as a foundation of the formation and development of biology, as well as the methods and approaches to the implement of education for all-round development and innovation. With the development of science and technology and the fierce competition among talents, social requirements has significantly changed for schools in training talents. However, the conventional teaching in biological experiments, mainly depending on provement, was meant to learn the relevant knowledge and skills. As to the scientic methods, spirits and attitude, they are too difficult to attract enough attention and do no good to fostering and unearthing the students' ability.Till now, the field of fundamental education has been advocating variable modes based on probing teaching and learning. As proved, zetetic experiments have a special effect on fostering students' ability. The paper aims to form and develop the students' ability, so as to explore a better way of boosting the students' all-round ability and quality, using zetetic experiments with probing activities in practice.With the methods of observation , experiments and investigation, the paper studies how to fostering the students' ability through using the zetetic experiments in the modes of experimental teaching.The implement shows that the zetetic experiments fully reveal the function of biological experiments, and effectively develop the students' ability in science attitude and quality of ideas, and are beneficial for boosting and fostering the students' interest, the activeness and desire for knowledge as well. It also inspire the innovation and brave inspect from the students and train them with the opinion and consciousness of team work. Meanwhile, it's good for exhibiting the boost of the teachers' quality and spirit of devotion into learning throughout their lives.
