Investigation And Analysis Of The Students’ Vocaitonal Spirit Cultivation In Higher Vocational Colleges

In recent years China’s higher vocational education has made great achievements, and itsproportion of share in higher education is also growing, which has attracted more and moreattention. However, at present in higher vocational education, vocational skill’s training isplaced in an important position, while ignoring irreplaceable role of vocational spirits inhigher vocational education, which makes the vocational spirit training as a mere formalityand hinders the improvement of the quality of students, therefore vocational education isdifficult to achieve the education actual effect and the ultimate goal. Higher vocationaleducation is a type of education that is the closest contact with the development of societyand economy construction. Good vocational spirit is the most important quality of thevocational college students, in the training of comprehensive quality it has an irreplaceableimportant role. Therefore, higher vocational colleges should not only emphasize thevocational skill training, but also pay more attention to the cultivation of the vocational spirit.This paper mainly explains the connotation of higher vocational students’ vocational spirit,the theoretical basis and ideological resources, and analyzes problems and reasons of thecurrent higher vocational students’ vocational spirit, and actively explores the effective waysof training. The article aims at making the higher vocational students in consciously intohigher vocational learning career of process, setting correct ideal beliefs and values,improving their integrated quality, developing good vocational spirit, better adaptingcontemporary social needs on high vocational students’ talent. Thus it achieves the task andgoals: achieving higher vocational education with employment, entrepreneurship, training theadvanced technology application talent who can adapt to the economic development, creatingcross century talents with innovative spirit.The thesis mainly consists of four parts:The first part: elaborates connotation and characteristics of the higher vocational collegestudents’ vocational spirit, which provides theoretical foundation for the next relatedresearching. At the same time, it discusses the importance and necessity of its trainingthrough five aspects: the sustainable development of economical social, the reformrequirements of higher vocational college’s education, the healthy development of the higher vocational colleges, enhancing students’ quality and the future occupation development ofhigher vocational college students.The second part: analyses main problems and reasons existed in the China’s currentprofessional spirits training. At present, China’s students’ vocational spirit cultivation hasthree main aspects of problem: first, higher vocational colleges don’t put the vocationalspirit into the educational content; second, the methods of vocational spirit cultivation aresingle and boring; third, the students themselves fails to recognize the important role in theoccupation career. The main reasons of the problem are: the traditional education ofoccupation spirit caused by low levels of attention, the rigid education training modeinfluences students’ vocational spirit cultivation, insufficient school education idea andmanagement, and evil social influences.The third part: discusses the ideological resources of the higher vocational collegestudents’ vocational spirit cultivation and the related experience of foreign vocational spirittraining. The resources of China’s vocational college students’ vocational spirit cultivation areMarx’s human’s full scale development, China’s traditional culture on the vocational spiritcultivation and our principles and policies about the vocational education. At the same time, itanalyses the German “dual system” vocational education, Singapore “teaching factory”vocational education, the British “sandwich” vocational education and American lifelongvocational education, which provides valuable experience for China’s students’ vocationalspirit training.The fourth part: analyses and explores the effective ways of training from three aspects,the first one is to play the role of ideological and political education in higher vocationalcolleges through ideological and political subject, counselor enhancing vocational spiritcultivation education and the teachers’ effect on the occupation spirit. The second one is topay attention to the practical activities to develop students’ vocational spirit through theteaching of professional theories lesson, practical lesson, internship and social practice. Thethird one is to build good vocational spirit cultivation environment through building thecampus environment, the introduction of business vocational spirit into campus, buildingsocial environment about the vocational spirit cultivation.In conclusion, vocational spirit cultivation is very important in vocational college students’ education, we should fully understand and strengthen higher vocational students’vocational spirit training, effectively combine professional education and quality education，make the vocational spirit cultivation as an indispensable component in vocational education，it is an extremely urgent task in front of higher vocational colleges’ vocational education. Atthe same time, vocational spirit cultivation is a very difficult task, which needs to bepersistent. Higher vocational college must make students’ vocational spirit as an importantpoint of teaching and education. And with the enterprises and the whole society participatingin and with keeping pace with the times, higher vocational college will train students tobecome higher comprehensive quality person.
