| The study is based on an open-ended questionnaires and interviews with some teachers and students, and on overviews of former studies and a test of one small sample, a theoretical hypothesis was put forward in this study. Thus the Graduates' Occupational Values Questionnaire that is fit for the graduate were designed and the reliability and validity were tested out. Then the status of graduates' occupational values was investigated through the formal questionnaire, to understand the characteristics of graduates' occupational values. And last several educational suggestions were proposed according to the characteristics of graduate' occupational values. The results of this study tell us:(1) The self-made questionnaire had high reliability and fair validity. By the method of exploratory factors analysis, the research found that the graduates' occupational values are constructed by four dimensions: "interpersonal relationship", "self-development", "material safeguard", "working conditions".(2) The order of ratings' mean of occupational values' every dimension given by graduates was "interpersonal relationship", "self-development", "material safeguard", "working conditions".(3) In terms of gender, the female graduates rate actual revenue, also means "material safeguard" more important than the male graduate. Male graduate given more regards on self-development and work conditions.(4) In terms of age, graduates under the age of 25 pay more attention to interpersonal relationship than graduates over the age of 30 students. 25-30-years-old graduates pay more attention to interpersonal relationship than 30-years-old graduate, the 25-years-old graduate scores points high.(5) In terms of subject, In faces the choice of material safeguard and the working conditions, between different graduate in different subject significantly; Humanities graduate in vocational choice's take more consideration on material safeguard, simultaneously also demanding higher working conditions' request than the sciences and engineering graduate; The humanities graduate pays more attention on material safeguard compared to the agronomy graduate.(6) In terms of whether to participate in the work, graduate have no experience pays more attention on material safeguard and interpersonal relationships.(7) In terms of raise way, the government expense graduate student pay more attention on material safeguard than graduate at their own expense.(8) In terms of their respective area, rural graduates from the South than the southern city graduates pay more attention to material safeguard; compare from the north city's graduate, the southern city graduates pay great attention to the material life safeguard; graduates from the southern city pay more attention to the work conditions than rural graduate from the South; graduate from the north in rural areas pay more attention to the work condition than graduate in rural areas from the South.(9) In terms of degree of professional satisfaction, graduates with professional satisfaction and professional dissatisfied graduate is extremely significant in work condition dimension, graduates with high satisfaction degree demanded higher. Graduates with professional satisfaction and professional basic satisfaction is abnormal significant in interpersonal relationship dimension, graduates with basic satisfaction degree demanded higher. Graduates with professional satisfaction and professional dissatisfied is significant in interpersonal relationship dimension, graduates with dissatisfied degree demanded higher. Graduate with professional satisfaction and professional basic satisfaction is abnormal significant in self-development dimension, graduates with professional satisfaction pay more attention to self-development. Graduate with professional satisfaction and professional dissatisfied graduate is extremely significant in self-development dimension, graduates with professional satisfaction pay more attention to self-development. Graduates with basic professional satisfaction and professional dissatisfied graduate is extremely significant in self-development dimension, graduate with basic professional satisfaction pay more attention to self-development. So, it turns up a meaningful rule that the more likes the profession the more attention pays to the development.(10) As a whole, the occupational values of graduates were positive, health and aspirant, but the stability and fluctuation in the development of the occupational values of graduate. |
