With the rapid development in science and technology and arrival of the new knowledge economy, the comprehensive national capacity competition between various countries is getting intense day by day. Many countries attempt to adjust the personnel trainings through the elementary educational curriculum reform, improve the personnel training quality, and therefore enhance the national competitiveness. For the time being, the elementary educational new curriculum reform in our country is moving forward steadily with an unparalleled and unprecedented momentum. Classroom teaching is the main channel and field of implementing the new curriculum. The high school physics classroom teaching should put a great emphasis on the scientific inquiry, teacher-student and student-student communication and cooperation under the new curriculum. In the class of vitality and openness, teachers often easily neglect the issue of class teaching rhythm penetrating in the entire teaching course which can influence the teaching. Actually, the issue of classroom teaching rhythm is not only a scientific question, but also an artistic question. The harmonious teaching rhythm is not only the foundation of the harmonious class teaching, but also the external form of the harmonious teaching. The research on the classroom teaching rhythm has the great theoretical value and the practical significance.Under the guidance of educational monitoring theory and constructivism theory, this study adopts an approach combining theory and practice and takes the initial step towards the strategic research of educational adjustment and monitoring on the course of Physics in the new high school's curriculum. The details of study are as follows:(i)The first part is the investigation on the status quo of educational adjustment and monitoring on the course of Physics in the new high school's curriculum. We use the survey as the main tool, accompanied by a great deal of in-class observation. We do a thorough analysis on the investigation result and summarize the existing problems coming up during the process of adjusting and monitoring the teaching rhythm, which gives the correct direction for the study of teaching Physics in class.(ii)The second part involves some explorations on theoretical aspects of teaching rhythm adjustment and monitoring in high school's Physics courses. Not only does it give the interpretation on relevant concepts and definitions, but also keep the fundamentals of theory in the right order, hence proposing some requirements and principles applicable to the teaching adjustment and monitoring.(iii)The third part of the study combines a lot of teaching case study based on theoretical analysis and proposes a good strategy of adjusting and monitoring teaching rhythm in terms of teaching materials, teaching processes, teaching languages and educational receptionists.(iv)The fourth and last part explores the practical aspects of adjusting and monitoring strategy initiated in the study, following two teaching practices in"the law of conservation of mechanical energy"and"study on the relationship of acceleration-force and acceleration-mass".We expect to provide some enlightenment of adjusting and monitoring teaching rhythm for the general physical teachers through this research, and some references of the elementary educational new curriculum reform in our country simultaneously.
