Today's basic education curriculum and teaching reform, vigorously advocated in the teaching process in a positive, appropriate and harmonious teacher-student interaction, so to promote both the teachers'development and the students'as well. The study on effective strategies of interaction between teachers and students in the classroom has become increasingly concerned in the educational and teaching focus. Middle school is a critical period for the teenagers to develop their cognition, emotion, attitude and values. During this period, they show a strong thirst for knowledge and participation of interpersonal interaction aspirations, so they expect more from their teachers. Active and effective teacher-student interaction in the classroom will be conducive to efficient completion of secondary school students and teachers teaching tasks, generate new knowledge and ability, and eventually realize the common development of teachers and students. The paper first recalls some theoretical background about this, and then it will be focusing its attention on the reality of secondary school in the rural area. Through surveys, classroom observations and interviews with teachers and students, we can better understand the learning and psychological characteristics of students and the situation of the classroom teacher-student interaction in the rural secondary school. On this basis, the further study is effective strategies of promoting teacher-student interaction, which is expected to provide theoretical and practical aspects of reference for classroom teaching reforms and students'pursuing and realization of the value of life.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is about the problem, the significance of research, the relevant concepts, research targets, and the content of study, the basic ways and research methods. The second part is the investigation and analysis of the status of rural middle school classroom teacher-student interaction. Through the survey, the paper describes the rural students'learning and psychological characteristics. Through interviews with teachers and classroom observation, analysis of classroom questioning, the classroom teacher-student interaction in the discussion, the teachers and students'emotional exchanges, the paper tries to find out the main problems in the classroom teacher-student interaction in rural schools. The third part of the paper talks about the characteristics of secondary school classroom teacher-student interaction and the characteristics of an effective strategy. Based on the above understandings and the status of the classroom teacher-student interaction, the paper comes to talk about the classroom teacher-student interaction and effective strategies. The effective strategies include: setting goals, creating situations, opening teaching, emotional integration, interpersonal cooperation and feedback controlling. With a view to promoting rural secondary school classroom teacher-student interaction, and eventually realize the common development of teachers and students. Part IV is mainly on the results of research on teacher-student interaction, summing up the work of this study, to identify gaps in order to know the problems that continue to be explored. Teacher-student interaction in rural secondary school classroom is a complex system. Its difficulty and complexity of the research awaits more hard work.
