The aim of this training method is to save the long-standing pitfalls in our vocational education system, such as educational theory is divorced with practice; the disseverment of knowledge learning and using; and the separation of teaching and studying. To save those problems, we have something important to do. First of all, the obtain employment of students. Secondly, we should provide the qualified persons to employers. Thirdly, we should alter the old training method of vocational education. The last but most important thing is that we should achieve the alteration of our training method from semi-close to open; from taking school as central to taking practice as central; and we ought to provide the advanced technologist to our country.As a branch of educational system, vocational education and the development of economy have many affinities. It shouldered the important task of training qualified labors and technical persons. We should be active in promoting the combination of educational theory, production practice, technique popularization, and social service. To promote the combination of theory studying and practice is the kernel and the soul of improving the training method of vocational education. At present, vocational education in our country has lots of pitfalls, both inner and outer. And there are also some questions within the combination of working and learning. All of these problems should be saved together by government, guild, educational institution and enterprises. For the sake of ensuring the new training method developed in-depth and healthily, we should be good at learning the certain experience from foreign countries, establish a series of indemnificatory mechanisms, and explore the specific measures of having a victory for both schools and enterprises.The innovations of this study are as follows: firstly, to give the definition of this new training method; secondly, to bring forward the principle and the frame of this new training method; thirdly, to table a proposal aimed at those pitfalls in the training method. All of these studies enriched this new training method and its connotation, and answered the question about"what is the combination of working and learning".
