The target of vocational education is cultivating various types of technical talents and high-quality workers. In the course of training, vocational college pays attention to the technical knowledge, professional skills, at the same time, that the training of psychological quality and improvement professional ethnic quality to the students can not be ignored. Vocational colleges' organization of courses in corresponding reality will be prepared while the students' sustainable development in the field of professional era cannot be ignored. Actually for strengthening the theory with practice, the reform of vocational education needs to go back to the scene of actual work spot.Vocational education should study and work actively to solve the most important problem that is to enable graduates to be better adapt to the social development of production technology, to successful completion of from school to work excessive.'Working and Learning Alternation' is a new training mode in vocational education practice. Up to now there is no clear definition in theoretical circle to it. It generally understood as the training mode, which the whole learning process is divided into schools' learning and work. It turns to the two processes. 'Working and Learning Alternation' in turn is jointly sponsoring the two sides in the process of evolving, its essence is school-combining-enterprises or joint education. It make use of schools and community education resources and environment so that students can learn the theory with practice. That the theory with practice is a major innovation and profound change in higher vocational education personnel training patterns .Its biggest characteristic is of the opening learning, practicality and occupational oriented.By the training mode of 'Working and Learning Alternation, the students can access practical experience, training their work skill, gain a real competence to work, and cultivate a positive professional attitude during they are at school. By the training mode of 'Working and Learning Alternation', the students can put the knowledge into usage in actual condition of enterprises. For better adaptability to the job, the students can quickly form professional ideal, cultivate good professional ethic and acquired job skills .Eventually talents quality will be improved fundamentally. The idea of competence-based curriculum in vocational education must be carried in actual work spot, course arranged according to real work task .Higher vocational school should try to create a real working situation that the students can learn all round about the future's job . The students should experienced in real work spot because of various requires and performances to being asked to the students from different enterprises.The talents training mode-working and learning alternation as the pilot training mode was carried out in Hotel Management of Sichuan Business Vocational School. In cooperation with enterprises, significant results has been made.First, the talents training mode 'working and learning' achieve a real scene of the school-enterprise cooperation. It benefits two sides. The teaching targets is tighten in teaching process while the students apply what they've learned. By accepting the internship the enterprises meet the need of the first-line talents with high quality. The end-user can find and cultivate fitful talents for the enterprises, Furthermore, the end-user get ready for the reservation for Human Resource. Second, the student competence and working skill are improved. It also made up for the lacking of teaching in school. The students accumulated social experience .So their thinking about the future job gradually changed from naive to mature .They come to know the workflow, master post operating skill and understand the job market demand. Third, the training mode make the students' employment concept changed and refined self-designation. Through the actual experience in internship units they are more aware of their own strengths and weaknesses comparing with others ability, experience and rewards. They get to know how they will bi in the future's job market. As the results students become more pragmatic, hard-work, eventually they give up some unrealistic idea for the beginning of their career. They clearly know their aim they will struggle for.The following -up survey results to the Graduates and Employer of Hotel Management show that, the students who participate in the practice activities during they study in school , their enthusiasm and creativity will be very high, the employment competition is of strong . The change of role will be more smoothly after graduate from school. The stability and adaptability to the job will be very good. Otherwise the students are not suited obviously the need of the enterprises, which will directly affect the students career .At present, Vocational education is out of line with actual situation. The problem of the talents training and enterprise need is becoming main contradiction which increasingly prominent. So relay on school-combine-enterprise, we should promote innovation in talents training mode. Not only training talents with high skill, high quality, but also try hard to find an effective way to resolve the employment of graduates in vocational collegesAs the result, 'working and Learning Alternation' training mode promote the reform of teaching in schools, particularly the reform of teaching evaluation mechanism. It help school understand the enterprise needs in return to help the enterprises understand vocational education while the construction of the teaching staff of higher vocational is also promoted.
