In recent years, with the development of the higher vocational education, the number of higher vocational students is rapidly growing. As a result, the employment problems has aroused the social widespread attention, especially in the current worldwide economic crisis, the employment situation of college students has become more serious. The employment problems of graduates are not only related to the vital interests of each student, but also related to the future and destiny of the school and the society’s stability and unity. The employment of higher vocational students has become the important goal of higher vocational education. Training higher vocational students’ employment ability has become one of the most important tasks in higher vocational college. Although the employment issues of the students don’t rely on the school completely, but what the vocational college must do is to explore a way to enhance the students’ employment ability and to enhance the students’ competence on the employment market. As to highlight of training high quality talents for the educational goals of the higher vocational colleges, we are not only teaching theoretical knowledge to students, but also paying more attention to students’ practice ability, and turning the occupation education training mode from half closed to open, take the classroom as the center to practice as the center. Taking the market demand as the guidance to cultivate students’practice ability, and providing the necessary personnel to enterprises so as to solve the problem of the employment of higher vocational students.In term of the characteristics of the higher occupation education training higher vocational students’ practical ability, in order to highlight the developed countries for occupation, employment ability of students training mode and means, and making us more clearly aware of the combination of higher occupation education as a kind of talent cultivation model, it is a effective and advanced way of training higher vocational students’ practice ability, and it’s also a necessary and security to develop the higher vocational education healthily. This kind of the teaching mode will be good to associate students’ theoretical knowledge with the practical skills training. In studying theory of knowledge, at the same time, higher vocational students’practical ability can be strengthened through the school’s teaching and in the internship process in enterprises, and thereby improving their employment ability.However, during the actual teaching process of training of students’employment ability, they still used a traditional training mode and teaching methods in most higher vocational colleges. Combining just stay at the surface and it is a mere formality. In our college, training mode and teaching means of students’ employment ability is still very backward. In the teaching process, theory of teaching is paid more attention, but most of the practice teaching link and have no real implementation, are delayed or put off. It is only reflected in the curriculum system in the paper, putting it away unheeded.The reasons for many vocational colleges connot implement and utilize model of combination of learning with working fully due to many aspects, but it’s mainly because of lacking and unperfectable system about model of combination of learning with working. Although, China’s higher vocational education has been an unprecedented development in recent years, however, the care of the state for higher vocational education development is still not enough compared to ordinary higher education, policy support and capital investment given to the higher vocational colleges by the government and related industries is inadequate, and as a result of this, higher vocational colleges are facing inadequate training equipment and limited funds, and cannot meet the going up practice teaching, and thus students’practice skills may not be very good to improve. To the another main body of participating in model of combination of learning with working----enterprise, because of the lacking of government’s security system, the participation of enterprises in the model of combination of learning with working for the government to tax relief policy in many cases not implemented, and the enterprise by its production and operation profit objective limitations, thereby causing the enterprises’ enthusiasm of participating in the model of combination of learning with working is not high. In addition, the consciousness of each part is not clear, most college’s concept on manage school is backward, they did not realize the importance of the model of combination of learning with working in training students’ employment ability; the enterprises are also lack of taking the social responsibility consciousness, and they are apathy to participate in the model of combination of learning with working; higher vocational students is lack of position and enthusiasm initiative for the model of combination of learning with working, they think the model is not essential, so their practical skills are not strengthened and enhanced by themselves.In terms of facing many problems and difficulties for higher vocational colleges in training students employment ability, this paper discusses how to implement and use model of combination of learning with working actively to cultivate and improve students’ employment ability. In the course of the study, I consulted a lot of journals, Monographs in the network and information firstly, through studying and researching model of combination of learning with working from the domestic and foreign fully.In the research process, the paper integrated the use of literature analysis, survey interviews, comparative analysis, case study and other research methods. Firstly, through extensive literature, Chinese and foreign periodicals collection, books and the Internet in relevant information, I learned and researched the model of combination of working and learning from the domestic to foreign, and then elaborated the employment ability and model combination of working and learning; secondly, though researching and analying vocational college students employment status appeared in recent years, and making a investigation about the demand of enterprise on vocational students’ employability, and then combined with the situation of our college, analyzed the problems and shortcomings in the model of combination of working and learning under cultivation of vocational college students’ employability; finally, on this basis, explored how vocational college, students and enterprise can make full use of the model of combination of working and learning to develop and improve the vocational college students’ employability. I suggested that vocational college should be based on the pattern of combination of learning with working to set orientation of running a school, major and course properly, and to improve teaching level and other aspects to strengthen students’ employability; At the same time, being the biggest beneficiaries, the enterprises ought to involve in the model of combination of learning with working to improve the students’ employability actively; In order to have a better employment, students themselves also should put their heart into the model of combination of learning with working actively to improve themselves constantly, and to improve their ability of employment as a result.
