Composition teaching in Junior high school has been the highlight of Chinese Language Teaching. However, the efficiency of composition teaching is not high. And the most research results about composition teaching are limited to special Phenomenon of composition teaching.There are only few people who study on the history of composition teaching. This paper arrangs the eleven Chinese Curriculum Standards since New China's found, on which a concrete analysis of the composition teaching objectives, secondary school students writing ability, the training methods of writing, the composition teaching methods relevant content And taking into account the social background, language subjects development background, the practice of teaching writing, a summization is taken to the development of the past 50 years. Learning from history is to face the future, and better development.
