With rapid development of higher vocational education, the quality of higher vocational education has received the widespread attention. As the feature of higher vocational education, practice-based training is not only the path to improve vocational skills of students, but also the effective mean of cultivating good professional ethics and literacy. As an important guarantee of improving the quality of practice-based training, quality management and control of practice-based training must be strengthened in vocational college. But now, the lack of systematic management and the low level of training program exist in many vocational colleges in China. Therefore, the establishment of practice-based training quality management system in vocational college is also very necessary.On the basis of clarifying the relevant concept, the thesis thoroughly analyses the development history, the classical theory, the main mode, the basic steps, the essence of quality management. All of these are refined as the theoretical foundation of the study.Then the thesis analyses the necessity, the feasibility, and six principles of constructing the practice-based training quality management system in the vocational college, and defines the"product"and"customer"of the practice-based training. It completes the theoretic modeling of practice-based training quality management system after discussing the quality assurance framework and the quality control system on the base of four element of practice-based training process.Finally, the thesis takes Nursing Department in Shanghai Institute of Health Science as an example, and analyzes the concrete measure and practice effect of using quality management theory to construct practice-based training quality management system in the vocational college.The innovation points of the study are as follows, the thesis is not mechanically imitating enterprise's methods, but paying great attention to the theory's applicability. In the theoretical discussing, with clarifying the relevant concept, the thesis thoroughly analyses the necessity, the feasibility, and the principles of constructing the practice-based training quality management system as the study foothold. With linking to actual circumstance of vocational colleges, the thesis summarizes the research and practice results of constructing the practice-based training quality system in the vocational colleges.
