The class is the chief place of teaching activity, the actual situation of teaching and learning reflects on the class teaching directly; the class is a test field, new teaching thinking and teaching strategy needed to be practiced and verified in the process of teaching; the class is a stage of teachers' development. The teachers continue to develop and grow up by the teaching process of practice, think, practice again and think again. However, the class is a relative secret room, in regular teaching process, teaching is only limited into the activities between the appointed teachers and students, the others are hardly to understand. Open class teaching is a special form of class teaching, it makes specialists, teachers, supervisors and parents go into the classroom, they can understand teaching situation directly. So the open class teaching has very important function on teachers' specialty development, teaching intercommunion, teachers' assessment and other aspects.The essay based on the topic of the theory understanding and practice exploring for the effects improvement of open class teaching. We adopted two kinds of research methods. (1) Theoretical research: Choosing the literature method to establish one's own research issue by reading and combing through the domestic and international materials on the class teaching and the open class teaching research. (2)Case study: This research raised, analyzed and solved the problem taking one school as an example. Except for those methods above mentioned, we also used many other ways, such as investigating, interviewing, and observing and so on.The essay expounds the topic from the bellowing aspects: firstly combing the research field, depth and width of the open class, verifying chief function as a normal teaching manner, solving the problems during the research. Secondly, by analyzing advantage and disadvantage of case school intensively, we summary the teachers' cognition of the open class and the problems appearing in the implement through the questionnaire and interview. Thirdly, According to the problem, the case school confirms the way to develop the effects of open class, grasps the key process of open class implement and establishes the improvement strategy. At the last, we find the chief problems during the improving process of strategy practicing and suggestion by analyzing the effects of the case school's improvement.The research follows the whole process from every aspects about the implement of the case study's open class effects improvement, it presents the real situation about the open class' improvement. The research make the learner understand the theory and practice of open class deeply and vividly. The research processes, results and suggestions will develop the research on the open class into a newer level.
