The target proposed by the Ministry of Education in the Ten-year Plan (2011-2020) forEducational Informatization is to make full use of modern information technology, to strengthenthe development, spread and share of high quality education resources, to further improve thequality of high education to enhance the construction of society of learning and service with theaim of combining modern means of education with scientific and cultural knowledge andrealizing the combination of science and technology, which is important for building a learningsociety. In our country, video open class of high quality is an important means for spreading andsharing curriculum. However, how far do the classes go in our country? What kind of problemsdo the classes face? And what kind of measures should we adopt to dealing with the problems?All these are worthy of discussion. The answers to these questions have profound significancefor the implementation of quality education resources sharing in China. Therefore, this study hasimportant theoretical significance and practical value.Based on objectives and contents, this study mainly adopted the research methods ofliterature review and investigation, and did some works as followed:(1) Analysis of the status quo of domestic video open class of high quality. On the basis ofsearching both national and international literatures and summarizing the development of bothinternational and domestic open educational resources and open classes, the study summarizedthe study status of international open educational resources, public class and domestic videoopen classes of high quality, and then attached great importance to the status quo of domesticvideo open classes of high quality.(2) Definition and discrimination of the related concepts. The study discriminated therelated concepts about video open class of high quality, for example, open educational resources,excellent resource sharing class, excellent course, massive open online course and micro course.Therefore, the connotation and characteristics of video open class of high quality are made moreclearly and the related theoretical basis for video open class of high quality was summarized.(3) Investigation based on data. Through the questionnaire of students using video openclass of high quality from six high schools in five regions, the study analyzed the data acquiredfrom data and summed up the problems reflected from data by using software EXCEL; theauthor deeply interviewed students in Shandong Normal University to understand student’s attitude and evaluation to open video of high quality. Furthermore, the related data on networkplatform was counted to understand the development of on-line video open class.(4) Countermeasures about the construction and development of video open class of highquality. Based on the problems reflected by investigation and development of open video of highquality and related researches, the study provided feasible and specific strategies from theaspects of promotion, resource sharing, course construction, platform construction, interaction,teaching and learning styles in order to make suggestions for the development of open video ofhigh quality.The study in the future will continue to expand the scope of survey so as to obtain a moreaccurate and more comprehensive data, and to make the policy more targeted. Secondly, furtherresearch about evaluation index system of video open class of high quality and comparison of thedomestic and the abroad will be carried out so as to improving construction quality of our videoopen class and effect of learning, which can obtain the goal of quality education resourcessharing early.
