The Reform Of The College Entrance Examination-a Research In The Perspective Of The Ecology Of Education

The reformation of the college entrance examination system not only reflects the standard which the institution of higher learning set to select the students, but also restricts the class teaching of the fundamental education and the education reformation. As one of the most sensitive systems, the college entrance examination system has a far-reached influence, not only on the school education system, but on the whole society. However, most researches on the reformations of the college entrance examination system are made from the aspect of practice and pedagogy, seldom from the aspect of the cross-subjects discussion of theories on the reformations of the college entrance examination. Therefore, the present thesis will discuss the reformation of the college entrance examination from the aspect of the ecology of education and, with the expounding and proving the ecology of the education system and the examination system as the starting point, will lay the foundation for the reformation of the college entrance examination to be brought into the system of the ecology of education. Then this thesis will analyze three ecology environments of education in order to find out the relationship between the reformations of college entrance examination and natural environment, politics, economy and culture. After that, the thesis, by applying the two important basic rules of the ecology of education, will reveal the problems of the college entrance examination system and the phenomenon of cheating in the college entrance exam, put forward some relevant reform measures and highlights the importance of the equity in the reformations of the college entrance examination. At last, the thesis will expound the reform views about the examination subjects, examination content, and examination forms and so on and put forward the proper rate of reform progress and some preconditions for the successful carrying out of the plan of reformations of the college entrance examination.
