The Research On The University Knowledge Management And The System Building

With the arrival of knowledge economy, the knowledge has become the mostimportant resources. How to manage the knowledge is also very important. Theuniversity is the typical knowledge intensity organization, and is most centralized touse and manage the knowledge? the knowledge management also has the superiorityand the characteristic in the university management. Therefore the university mustprovide the useful resource for the economy and the society. So it is a request for theuniversity to carry on the effective knowledge management. The paper tries to buildthe system of the university KM (Knowledge Management).The paper has five chapters, in the first chapter, the author discusses the author'sresearch purpose and research angle. In the second chapter, the author explains thebackgrounds, conception. In the third chapter, the author discusses the meaning of theUKM (University Knowledge Management), and also discusses the present situationof the UKM. In the next chapter, the author proposes the methods: the creationknowledge management environment, the establishment corresponding organizationsand agencies, the enhancement the management of tactics knowledge and explicitknowledge, the university leaders'participation, the establishment knowledgemanagement appraisal system, the strengthening intellectual property rights system,providing the realtimehelp, foundation knowledge alliance. In the last chapter, theauthor discusses the basic structure and the function of the university knowledgemanagement system as well as the key technologies.
