In the 21st century,knowledge plays an important role in the economy. Therefore,Knowledge has become the core resources that can give universities sustainable competitive advantage.With the realization that knowledge is a core resource,universities should commence knowledge management to enhance their own performance.Knowledge sharing and innovation are the core concept of knowledge management,which just meets the demands of Universities.University teachers possess a large number of knowledge which is the base of the knowledge innovation.Therefore, the paper will explore the application of knowledge management in university teachers.The paper will attempt to study and design a knowledge management system oriented to university teachers.The following three parts are the core of this paper.The first part:this paper brings up a theoretical model of teachers' knowledge management,and a conceptual model of teachers' knowledge management performance evaluation.The first model revealed the process of teachers' knowledge management and its influencing factors.The second model revealed the relationship among teacher personal performance,team performance and organizational performance,and their influencing factors.The second part:this paper study and design the knowledge management system oriented to university teachers.First,the paper analyzes the functions and preparations of the knowledge management system oriented to university teachers,based of which designs the function modules of the system.The system includes two core modules: knowledge sharing module and organizational performance assessment module.And the second module is the highlight of the system.The third part is the most important part,maybe is something new.The part studies the university teachers' knowledge management performance evaluation.First, it designs systematically the evaluation indicators of Universities teachers' performance evaluation,which embraces three first-class indicators,nine second-class indicators and twenty-eight indicators.Then,the part uses the typical assessment methods such as analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct an assess model.Last,through the implementation of specific assess,the paper identify the application and conclude of the assess model of teachers' knowledge management performance.
