Study On Construction Of University Knowledge Management System

Knowledge management as a managerial and organizational model covering the organization's developmental process, its managerial function can promote knowledge innovation and sharing; can build a culture atmosphere for innovation. Universities as sources and distributing centers of knowledge urgently need it, therefore, it become an inevitable choice for university management. University knowledge management is a strategic reflection coming up with development of information technology and knowledge management, when university faced with many challenges and opportunities as how to effectively access, share, innovate and use knowledge resources to optimize the value chain and meet individual requirements, thereby giving university knowledge full play as leverage and other resources of university to be maximum efficiency. At present, studies on university knowledge management are less and lack of systematic, understanding of it is still very superficial, therefore, the studies aimed at the construction of university knowledge management system is quite necessary. The purpose and significance of this study:through the construction of university knowledge management system, accelerate the innovation of university knowledge, enhance competitive ability. It can help the university establish a sound incentive mechanism for knowledge-sharing and innovation, enhance the heterogeneity of knowledge organization thus to maintain sustained competitive advantage; through the analysis such as model, features, functions, and so on about university knowledge management system, explore further need for university knowledge management system, thus benefit for discussions of methods and ideas about university knowledge management system and future research.This paper completes the following four aspects:(1) Analyze knowledge needs and types of university knowledge management system, present three methods of knowledge acquisition on it and construct knowledge systems of university knowledge management system.(2) Establish goals and principles of construction on university knowledge management system, then bring forward overall framework, functional system and details of main function modules about it.(3) Bring forward methods of construction on university knowledge management system, establish the goal and principles for constructing the university knowledge management system, based on the needs analysis of university knowledge management system, give the function design of system, make detailed briefing to major application of technology.(4) Through the proposal of building a knowledge management system for MS university of implementation strategy and implementation effectiveness analysis, to verify the need, the feasibility and practical significance for constructing university knowledge management system.
