In recent years, too much stress has been made on the employment-oriented training target in higher vocational and technical colleges, and humanistic quality education has been ignored, which cause the phenomenon of high abilities but low humanistic quality. So the important role of humanistic quality education is being emphasized during the cultivation of higher vocational talents. This thesis aims at giving some suggestions to the establishment of a scientific and reasonable humanistic quality education system in vocational and technical college, which is based on the research on the case of Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College.In this thesis, research methods such as questionnaire, individual interview, comparison and literature analysis are included. By referring to plenty of literature related, the author summarizes the current situation of humanistic quality education in higher vocational colleges, and the theory about the humanistic quality education in higher vocational colleges is discussed. By questionnaire and individual interview, the author have an overall understanding of the situation of humanistic quality education in Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College ,then many problems are found out and the reasons are given. At last, the detailed countermeasures for the enhancement and improvement of humanistic quality education in higher vocational colleges are put forward.The body of the thesis mainly includes three parts except for the introduction and conclusion.In the first part the theory of humanistic quality education is introduced, and its connotation, purpose, method, evaluation means is discussed comprehensively.The second part is the research result on the case of situation of humanistic quality education in Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College. Through questionnaire and individual interview, lots of problems such as low status, little curriculum, dated teaching method, and single evaluation means exit in humanistic quality education in Jiujiang Vocational and Technical college. Moreover, the author also explains why these has happened in the following four aspects: the spread of utilitarian thought in education, a great demand for technicians in the society, lack of teaching resources, and students' weak foundation in the humanistic.The third part is the countermeasures to improve the humanistic quality education in higher vocational colleges are enunciated. Referring to advanced experiences and achievements both at home and aboard, the author suggests that we should establish a clearly teaching target, design reasonable contents, innovate effective teaching methods, bring up highly competitive faculty, establish and improve evaluation and security system.The focus of the research in the thesis is to establish the humanistic quality education system with higher vocational characteristics. It emphasizes the cultivation of the vocational spirit, suggests forming associations with vocational characteristics and advocates prompting the culture combination between campus and enterprises, which have made a great contribution to establish the humanistic quality education system.
