The Research On Counselor Troop Construction At Local Newly-built Colleges

Counselor construction at local newly-built colleges is the important part of Ideological and Political Education of colleges in China. Building up a group of professional counselors is an effective method to non-stop enhancement of students' Ideological and Moral Education at local newly-built colleges and management of students' affairs. Counselor construction at local newly-built colleges is hindered as a result of interferences from self-restriction and counselors' quality. The only way out is to reinforce counselor's specialization.In recent years, our government came on a series of documents in succession which offers a ground for counselor's specialization at colleges in China, and related theoretical researches come out one after another. All in all, most of these policies are not operational institutions but instructive suggestions. In theoretical researches, it is not easy to find something about counselor construction at local newly-built colleges to be mentioned, so systematic theory is still to be formed.After the research of the relative policies and literatures, this paper, on the one hand, analyzes the current situation, problems and causes of counselor construction. On the other hand, it gives a discussion on Countermeasures to reinforce counselor construction, analysis of policies to counselor's specialization, explanation to significance of counselor's specialization and proof that specialization is the only way out for counselor construction . The basic thoughts of counselor's specialization are also emphasized. That is to say, public opinion is created, counselor's specialization is cared, the institutions to counselor construction are improved and counselors' abilities and qualities heightened.
