It is urgently needed to vigorously develop vocational education for industrialization and modernization in China. The fundamental task of vocational education is to train the practical and qualified people for the production line. It requires the teaching process should be based on professional activities and the labor process-oriented. Besides, the teaching process should be scientific and well-organized. The way of the school-enterprise cooperation, which can train highly skilled people on a large-scale and a fast speed, becomes the best one.With the development of educational reforms, more and more schools are carrying on cooperation with enterprises. However, almost all schools have various opinions on school-enterprise cooperation, because so far we still haven't systematic and complete research on it. We are facing lots of problems, such as having no unanimous understanding, efficient work, policy and system.Based on the concept of the definition and characteristics of the analysis for school-enterprise cooperation, this paper summarizes and benefits from domestic and foreign main modes of cooperation; problems and strategies have been also sought from the enterprises and schools in Suzhou. Therefore, this paper focuses on exploring an effective mode of cooperation for the development of Suzhou's economy and school.
