This essay is dedicated to research into the integration of information technology and Chemistry curriculum in the context of the new curriculum from following aspects: the developing status and existing problems of the integration of information technology with curriculum and the teaching design; the contents system of teaching design in the context of the integration of information technology with curriculum. And cases of teaching design is given according to the research and teaching practice. This essay is aimed at researching into every aspect concerning teaching design of the integration of information technology with curriculum, guiding and helping Chemistry teachers in high school to carry out integrated ways of teaching, and to contribute themselves to boosting the development of such integration.This essay is developed in five parts:The first part is introduction, mainly discussing the aim, significance, theories and approaches of the essay.The second part is relevant explanations, developing status and existing problems of the teaching design of the integration of information technology with curriculum.The third part is the discussion on the integration of information technology with curriculum, which is the researching core of the essay, mainly on the features, case analysis, feedback of student survey, and the existing effective approaches of integration, as well as how choose appropriate patterns to carry out the teaching.The fourth part is the thinking of the integration of information technology with Chemistry curriculum in high school. And the role of curriculum integration in Chemistry teaching in high school is studied, the usage of information technology in teaching process and assessment for students are discussed, and the future of the integration of information technology with Chemistry curriculum is also described. The fifth part is the conclusion which re-defines the form, approaches, and ideology of the integration of information technology with Chemistry curriculum.The approaches adopted in the essay include documentary method, theory study method and case study method.
