The vocational colleges were established in Wuxi to join to theengineering alternating talent cultivation mode, the engineering alternating talentcultivation mode in succession to bold attempt.Investigation and in-depth analysis andresearch under the background of engineering alternation student sports study, sportsteachers, physical education, extracurricular sports activities, sports venues and equipmentsuch as the status quo, and the feasible development countermeasures are put forward. Itprovides the reform for the sports teaching in vocational colleges which have implementedengineering alternation or will implement engineering alternation in our city and even theprovince.Based on documentation, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, mathematicalstatistics and logic analysisand other research methods, five to the our city andalternating engineering students in higher vocational colleges of physical educationteachers to conduct a comprehensive investigation and analysis of the system,researchconclusions are as follows:(1) The vocational colleges lead to insufficient recognition ofsports, the sports teaching the investment of funds is relatively small, restricting thedevelopment of sports teaching. The policies related to security, competition, incentivelagged, so these influence teachers’ enthusiasm to the work.(2)The teacher vacancy, basicreasonable degree, the title; Highly educated, high title teachers less, and the existence ofuneven distribution; Scientific research ability is weak, less training and learningopportunities; Teachers’ workload exceeds bid badly; The class number is generally higherthan "standard" requirement.(3) the ways students’ extracurricular physical exercise arediversified development trend, boys and girls there is a big difference in exercise way, choice of content; Most of the students of physical education learning purpose, attitudes,motivation and think straight reasonable sports performance evaluation; Lack ofself-evaluation of students to master sports health knowledge, the differences betweenmale and female students of physical education content like project.(4)Alternatingengineering students proportion is small, still in the initial exploratory stage.
