The Research For The Education Situation Of Overseas Chinese Students Who Were In The Universities Of Guangdong Province During The Republic Of China, 1937-1949

After the Pacific War, with more and more overseas Chinese students applying for studying in China, the situation of education and living of these students was beginning to be paid more and more attention to, particularly in the Guangdong province, as the main motherland of the overseas Chinese. The higher education of overseas Chinese students had developed during the Republic of China, but the research is still getting little attention. This paper is based on the data of Sun Yat-sen University and Lingnan University which is stored up in Guangdong archives room, hoping that it will do some help to the research of the education situation of overseas Chinese students which were in the universities of Guangdong province during the Republic of China.
