The physical conception teaching is the foundation of physics teaching, also one of the most basic skills for high school teachers. However, the process of forming a physical conception is completed. Therefore, how to help the students, based on the level of their thinking ability and thinking quality, form the correct physical conception is the most important task for the high school physics teaching.Based on the characteristics of the physical conceptions, the paper illustrates the process of how to help the students grasp the conceptions in terms of psychology. Afterwards, the paper points out the difficulties in teaching in addition to some problems worth paying attention to and suggests some solutions. Besides, the author puts forward his constructive suggestions on how to understand, memorize and apply to the physical conceptions on the basis of his own teaching experience.
