The college instructional management is the one of total process of instruction, which is of great importance to the stability of instruction procedure and quality. With the advent of the 21st century, the students' participation in the instruction management has given us eloquent proof of it to establish a kind of confidential and harmonious managing system so as to make the practice keep in step with the times. Their participation should be appreciated and their practice is effective.On the basis of the characteristics of the present managing system, this thesis delves into the crux various problems concerned, analyses the transformation of instructional ideas, charges, informationalization, and urgent challenges. It also provides theoretical support for depth research based on good governance theory, stakeholder theory, student power theory which have been integrated and systematized in the theoretical framework. In practice, the establishment of autonomy, development of information technology, participation in management of the students, both Chinese and foreign, have accumulated lots of experience which is beneficial to further development. We also analyse and testify its significance and then point out that the students" rights could be realized, the disadvantages of information discord be overcome, the probability of reversal choice and moral risk be reduced, the efficiency of instructional management be raised. In the end, we exemplify the participation of the students of Jiangnan University, and provide positive analysis and suggestions to further participation in practice.This thesis has adopted vast perspectives of literature, historical and comparative studies, theoretical analysis, positive researches deeply and systematically. It lays emphasis on the combination of theory and practice, so the operational approaches are applicable.
