A Study On The Problems In College Students' Participation Of School Management And Countermeasures

With development of China's higher education toward internationalization,modernization and technicalization, college students' participation into schoolmanagement has turned to be a requirement of our higher education reform, as well asan inevitable trend of the development of world higher education. However, thesituation in Chinese colleges doesn't seem optimistic in terms of the field, way and theeffect of college students' participation. In the light of such fact, this paper will give astudy from the aspects of both theory and practice to provide an effective way.In additional to the introduction, this paper is divided into three parts:Chapter1, as the first part, focuses the study on the theoretical part. With thedefinition of participation into management and college students' participation in schoolmanagement as beginning, this part will discuss the subject, extent, content, way andorganization of college students' participation in school management, in which way atheoretical frame will be constructed and provide a theory basis of the investigation insecond part.In Chapter2, the second part, an investigation conducted in the scope of collegesin Chongqing, by carrying out a sampling questionnaire survey in students of fourrepresentative universities and in-depth interviews with university teachers,management personnel and the principal, will give a full picture of actual situationabout college students' participation into school management. This would help to findthe problems existing in the management and the reason. According to these problems, the third part-Chapter3-will put forward respectivesolutions to implement the participation effectively.
