In recent years, China places great emphasis on developing vocational education, and thus many vocational institutes emerged with increasing scales. However, we also find that in many areas, the teaching resources are very poor and uneven due to the bad structure, management mechanism and financial conditions. Many institutes lack teachers with related industry background and the experience to train teachers as well.All those have become an obstacle for the development of high vocational education. In order to change this situation, vocational institutes must adjust itself to the social demands; actively explore an effective training system for the teachers and build a qualified teaching team with strong career development awareness so as to cultivate the students in a more market-driven method. On one hand, the teachers'capabilities are greatly improved; on the other hand, the cultivated students will also be welcome by the enterprises.With the prosperous development of external economy, many foreign enterprises will be a good partner for the vocational institutes. And also Vocational institutes can learn a lot from them in terms of their modern HR principles, especially in the field of training and development. Referring to the mature training system both in foreign enterprises and some foreign vocational institutes; this thesis makes an analysis of teachers'training problems existed in Suzhou I vocational institutes'and provides some solutions and suggestions; which may make some contribution to improve teachers'training standard in Chinese vocational institutes.
