Composition is a comprehensive presentation of Chinese ability in the form of knowledge, thoughts, emotion, intelligence and language. Similarly, composition should be focused on particularly as an important part of Chinese teaching. However, Chinese composition teaching in senior stage is a weak chain in the whole Chinese teaching, which is not only affected by the traditional Chinese teaching, but also by other factors. For example, neglecting the development and utilization to the curriculum resource is an important item. Traditionally, plenty of meaningful curriculum resources used not to be included in the way of developing composition curriculum resources in China. As a result, their functions in education were not found and used. With the further advancement of Chinese course reform and issue of new curriculum standard, the importance of curriculum resources are being understood by more and more Chinese teaching staffs. That is, without considering curriculum resources, any plan about curriculum resources reform could not be turned into real achievement in education.The essay attempts to explore the train of thought in composition teaching reform in order to study theories on curriculum resources and practical usage on the base of basic education reform and composition teaching reform, starting with the development and utilization of curriculum resources. Firstly, the writer defines the concept of curriculum resources from the macroscopic point of view of educational theories including the introduction to classification of curriculum resources and their characteristics Secondly, the author presents the developing tendency of curriculum resources in composition teaching at home and abroad, absorbs their advantages and spurns their disadvantages, combining Chinese composition teaching and development and utilization of curriculum resources; analyses the significance of curriculum resources in the course of Chinese composition teaching. Thirdly, the writer discusses different strategies of developing and utilizing curriculum resources in the course of Chinese composition teaching according to methodology, namely, in the areas of real life, in schools, students, teachers and information technology. Finally, the author sets forth as the curriculum resources should be focused on in the Chinese composition teaching, the relationships among the Chinese composition teaching, accumulation of writing knowledge, experience of writing Chinese composition, senior students' psychology and their ages also be well dealt with; he hopes he can find the flexible strategies of developing and utilizing curriculum resources in practical Chinese composition teaching and develop and utilize all kinds of curriculum resources effectively in the Chinese composition teaching in senior stage.
