Chinese abstract: In the criteria for the course of Chinese teaching in the middle school, "Chinese quality"of the students is highly emphasized and the objects of the new curriculum reform are further clarified into three dimensions: knowledge and skill; process and method; emotional attitude and values. Experience, perception,understanding and communication are the four concepts highlighted in the teaching process and teachers should be responsible for helping students to improve their qualities such as"learn to observe the life from different perspectives so as to enrich life and emotional experience"; "attach importance to developing aesthetic perception"and so on. As a result, it has become urgent and necessary to have students learn knowledge through activity and experience with an aim to improve their Chinese qualities in the Chinese teaching. The author has benefited a lot from the study of theories as well as teaching practice regarding experiential teaching. So this thesis is intended to explore and reflect on the improvement of the students' Chinese qualities with the help of experiential teaching on the basis of the author's personal teaching experience.The first part of this thesis is devoted to analyse the status quo of Chinese teaching and the importance of experience in the Chinese teaching. The second part is focused on the review of the origin, interpretation and connotation of the concept experiential teaching and the generalization of the four features in the experiential teaching. The third part discusses some strategies on how to create a teaching atmosphere for the students to experience. 1) to awaken the students'inner experience by means of the power of language 2) to deepen the individual experience by means of the creation of proper situation 3) to make sublime the experience in the teaching practice by means of interaction 4) to further expand the experience by means of the stimulation of the students'expression desire.
