In recent years, with the increased scale of China's higher education enrollment, the number of college graduates break through the growth rate of several percents, and increase by leaps and bounds. The problem of the employment of university students has become an important research topic. Beacause of the employment situation of university students increasingly severe and the graduate employment costs increasingly, this paper focuses on the composition and the content of the employment cost. Through analysis of survey results, the paper analyse the reason of the increase of the graduate employment costs, and suggest countermeasures how to reduce the cost of the employment.The main contributions of the thesis are as follows.(1)This paper discuss and study the cause of the problem of employment, analyse the cause of the number of college graduates increasingly and the deficiency of psychology and ability, and further analyse the six reason of the problem employment such as the employment environment and the set of majoy.(2)This paper analyse the composition and the content of the employment cost and survey the question of the employment cost based on study of employment problem about university students. By analysis of survey results, this paper come to the conclusion that the employment cost increasing bring on the difficulty of employment particularly heavy burden of accommodation costs and traffic costs.(3)By analysis of the survey, the paper proposes four reasons about increase of employment cost. One of the reasons is the number of university graduates increasing year after year. Second, job attitude of graduates is blindfold. Third, the regional economic development of china is lopsided. Finally, asymmetric information exists between college students and recruit units.(4)This paper proposes five strategies and recommendations how to reduce the cost of the graduate employment. Include: how to resolve the contradiction about the number of graduates over the demand of the job market; how to improve their psychological quality of college students, and avoid blindfold job attitude; how to improve information systems of the employment of college graduates and avoid information asymmetry; how to develop campus recruitment and set up long-term cooperative relations; how to make full use of network resources, to predigest recruit flow and reduce employment costs.
