A Research On New Model People-oriented Students' Management

The work on students'management is one of the important aspects of the work of colleges and universities, it is the fundamental work to maintain normal school teaching order and ensure the healthy growth of students. During the process of China's higher education from elite to mass, the work on college students has had a significant change in the background.For a long time, the work on college students generally based on rigid management characterized by education and management, that is, under the condition of the system and regulations, they mainly used constraints, monitoring, enforcement, penalties and other means for their management, this model strictly regulate the students'behavior, ignore the students'dignity and feelings, suppressed the student's personality, Education and management are one-way, the students were only the educated and the managed. After the 90s, people began to integrate the services into the management of students; they proposed education, management and service model. This model added the content of service to the previous one, but it has lesser amount of service and is far from the main body of students'management. Therefore they often can not be well implemented and influence the quality and effectiveness of students management. The new model of Students management which was put forward in recent years has changed a lot compared with the previous model. The content of the new model is education, management, service and development. The education, management and service in the new model are just a process or a means, the education, management and service is two-way and interactive, the full development of the students is the ultimate goals and attribution. This model of students management not only strengthen a certain amount of social norms, reflect the macro requirements of social and school, but also pay more attention to students'personal characters and unique needs, it emphasize an all-round development of services for students.In this paper, students'management is the object and focus in the research. Firstly, I gave a brief review of the history of changes in work patterns and development, summarized the main features of the evolution of the process; Secondly, I gave an analysis of the problems existing in the students management, explained the concept and the necessity of people-oriented, moreover, I gave the scientific understanding for human development and features of the new model and its significance, Finally, concepts, principles and operation systems on how to establish a new student management model were explored briefly.
