The Study Of The Developing Of The Sino-Foreign Cooperation Of Running School Of Ningbo University

In the past one decade, China has achieved greatly in the area of Sino-Foreign cooperation in running schools (SFCRS), it has developed to become an important part of domestic higher education. The development of the social and economic surrounding of Ningbo city provides a super condition for SFCRS. Ningbo University has early performed a practice of SFCRS and achieved greatly in the beginning. But recently, SFCRS of Ningbo University faces up to a less-progressing state, the level of program of SFCRS has not advanced and the major setting is single.In this thesis, we study carefully the background, the developing process, the current state and the achievement of SFCRS of Ningbo University. Furthermore, we investigate the main features, including the coupling between the international and domestic contents in the course system and the teaching processes, the strength of the practice education and cultivation of the human spirit, and teaching quality evaluation, etc.Through summarizing the practice of SFCRS, we analysis the main problems existed: the less-developing situation of running school, the single major setting for SFCRS, the shortness of financial support, and the limitation of the cooperation mode, etc. Furthermore, we explore the resulted reasons from three aspects: the relative policies and laws are not perfect enough and then affect the development of SFCRS; the increase of competition of the less-developing situation of running school compresses the developing space of SFCRS of Ningbo University; the defects of Ningbo University itself, such as the deviation of educational notions from the purpose of SFCRS and the centralization management of programs of SFCRS etc, are also important factors to cause the less-developing state.And summing up the existing problems and the resulted reasons of school running in current state, we try to put forward suggestions to promote the healthy development from two aspects, respectively. For the national management, we think that the most important is to advance the construction of policy and law. For the management of Ningbo University, our suggestions include the change of educational notions, the innovation of educational management, the colonizing of educational mode and the financial support, and the strength of theoretic investigation for SFCRS.
