At the end of the 20th century, China launched a new round of curriculum reform. Curriculum reform to "To the Chinese nation's rejuvenation, to the development of each student" as the fundamental purpose, "the lives of the students return to the world," the new curriculum gives life meaning and value of life. Standards as the "general high school chemistry curriculum standards (experimental)" is high school chemistry curriculum reform document. As to embody the concept of curriculum reform and program objectives, to better implement the curriculum goals, high school chemistry curriculum a new course structure, the two sub-levels of compulsory and elective. "Chemistry and Life" as a high school chemistry courses, one elective module to life issues, social issues such as the educational value of STS content and material for the learning content, to highlight chemical and reflects the social, environmental, real life and extensive links highlighted "to the issue of social life as the center of the" design-oriented courses, which brings out the "learn chemistry, use chemistry" value orientation , for students to build a more flexible and practical scientific literacy of the chemicalBased on the concept of the new curriculum standards and the chemistry curriculum in the "Chemistry and Life" textbooks to students based on life experience, highlighted "return to student life," "improve the scientific literacy of students," "students' sense of social responsibility" value orientation. Textbooks focus on "Chemistry and Environment", "Chemistry and Health", "Material of Life" and the theme, select the contents of life, using a variety of activities in the form of columns, changing the learning styles of students, help students in the process of self-study , further experience of chemistry in society, the importance of life, understanding of chemistry and the relationship of human life, understanding the chemistry in the solution to the social, the question of the role of life, and promote all-round improvement of scientific literacy to enhance a sense of social responsibility. 5 parts in this paper, the first part of the problem, research on the background of the existing home of "Chemistry and Life" elective modules as well as textbooks and teaching case studies, as well as the purpose of this study and significance. The second section sets out the methodology of this study. The third part is a study on chemistry curriculum standard , "Chemistry and Life" course objectives, course content of the research on "Chemistry and Life" teaching value orientation, study the preparation of the content. Part IV is on the basis of the theory of "Chemistry and Life" teaching model, teaching the design of the relevant cases, and through tests, questionnaires, activity etc. The results of teaching statistics and analysis. Part V is the teaching experiment study concluded, some ideas of the process of teaching on the "Chemistry and Life", and the preparation of "Chemistry and Life" to make some suggestions.
