The Primary Probing Into The Basic Theoritical Problems And The Major Fields Of Sports Art

Ever since the twenty first century,sports has been becoming more andmore influenced by art.The combination of the two formed a new subject-Sports Art.Sports Art has been attracting more and more people. It is playing an increasingly important role in all fields of human society.To meetthe increasing demand for talents majored in Sports Art, many universities of Physical Education in China have opened courses to train students.But due to the lack of a sound theoretical basis,they failed to give a satisfying definition of Sports Art and a clear delineation of the boundary of this subject.And there is still no clear, plausible way to systemize different branches of this subject.To solve this problem,this dissertation researches systematically into the basic theoretical problems of Sports Art,and further probes into the major fields connected with Sports Art and the basic problems facedby universities of Physical Education in China to build up this new subject.The research methods used in this study include documentation, questionnaire,case study,logical analysis,statistical analysis,etc. The following are my findings1.Definition of Sports Art.The definition of Sports Art includes a broad meaning and a narrow meaning.Broadly speaking,Sports Art refers to the encompassing term which includes sports,all art forms that are closely connected with sports and sports items that are becoming more and more artistic;narrowly speaking,Sports Art refers to the social sports activities of artistic value which are aesthetically regulated and exercised systematically and rhythmically by people to build their body,demonstrate their sports ability,and enhance the full development of their body and mind.2.Classification of Sports Art according to the relations between Sports and Art.Sports Art can be divided into two categories:one is the kind of Sports Art that use sports to create new art;the other is the Sports Art that use art to create new sports,that is,artistic sports performance(the art of sports performance)3.Detailed analysis of the present existing forms of artistic sports performance:(1) Body-building artistic sports performance.(2) Entertaining artistic sports performance.(3) Athletic artistic sports performance.Artistic sports performance has the following features: aesthetic,rhythmical,performable,and expressional.4.Classification of artistic sports performance according to differentcriteria:(1) It can be classified into visual artistic sports performance and audio visual artistic sports performance according whether there is accompany music.(2) It can be classified into children artistic sports performance,adolescents artistic sports performance, and adults and the elderly artistic sports performance according to the different age of the performers.(3) It can be classified into individual artistic sports performance and group artistic sports performance according to the number of the performers.(4) It can be classified into ancient artistic sports performance,latter-day artistic sports performance,modern artistic sports performance,and contemporary artistic sports performance according to the history artistic sports performance.(5)it can be classified into body-building artistic sports performance,athletic artistic sports performance,entertaining artistic sports performance according to the functions of artistic sports performance.5.The main field connected with Sports Art:Sports Art activities, Sports Art objects,Sports Art categories,Sports Art creation,Sports Art products and Sports Art reception.6.A primary probing into the setting of courses by Universities of Physical Education.Students major in artistic sports performance can be grouped into three different branches:body-building artistic sports performance,athletic artistic sports performance,entertaining artistic sports performance.
