Course Program is the main basis for talent cultivation activities and a complex and compound system with fine structure and bad prosperities; compilation of course needs double consideration of the external environment and internal system,therefore,it is "in the process of transformation eternally",any current or generalized course program is not the ultimate mode,just a link in the changeable chain and research on it at any time enjoys profound theoretical and practical significance.Taking current course program of physical education major of colleges and universities in Hunan Province as the research object,by using the methods of literature,survey(questionnaire survey,interviewing,discussion and observation methods),mathematical statistics and logical analysis, through analysis of the cultivation aim,cultivation specification and course system of the course program of each school and comparison of the course programs(teaching plan) issued by the Ministry of Education over the years, the essay concludes that as for the cultivation aim of the talent,physical education major of colleges and universities in Hunan Province defines the talents into two types,namely "compound physical education talent" and "applied physical professional talent",but with high consistency in cultivation specification.In the aspect of course system,the course is set as compulsory course and elective course,but with difference in course platform setting,and the typical course platform setting is divided into four kinds as common compulsory course,specialized compulsory course,specialized limited elective course and elective course(including specialized elective course and common elective course).Comparing it with the past,courses set and requiring the students to learn are increased,with higher requirement than that of the course program issued by the Ministry of Education,but the credit hours are decreased and are lower than that of the course program issued by the Ministry of Education,which shows that colleges and universities intensify reforms in the aspect of course miniaturization but contradiction between fewer class hours and more teaching content is conspicuous.Credit hours of physical technical course are increased,morn than that of the course program issued by the Ministry of Education,but some distance still exists between the expectation of the teacher and students at the frontline.There is not enough stress on the setting of educational course,with fewer courses,fewer credit hours and inadequate system.The combination of course teaching and cultivation of the capability and quality of the students is poor,so the knowledge and capability structure of the student is unreasonable and polarization becomes much more serious.The essay hereby believes that compilation of the course program of physical education major shall take "integration of knowledge imparting, capability cultivating and quality promoting"as the guidance to construct "three in one" course system so as to cultivate four kinds of knowledge and six kinds of capabilities of the students.
