Geographical situational teaching and learning refers to a teaching way.In the teaching process,in order to achieve the teaching goal,teachers introduce or design situations which adapt to the geography teaching content from teaching reality,thus stimulate students' learning enthusiasm,initiate students' emotion experience,make students actively learn new concepts,rules and principles in a happy teaching atmosphere,and then apply what they have learned to the situation which teachers design,even try to apply it to the students' real-life.Geographical situational teaching and learning may be a new word for most geography teachers,but this kind of teaching ideology has been long established in home and abroad.In fact,most geography teachers will use such an ideology in their daily teaching without consciousness,because they understand it a little.By literature research and the questionnaire survey,the thesis has conducted the systematic research on geographical situational teaching and learning in current junior and senior high school.Firstly,the thesis has conducted theoretical research on the geographical situational teaching and learning,and this part mainly has given the accurate definition to situation and geographical situational teaching and learning,the constructivism learning theory and the situated cognition and learning theory have been regarded as the theoretical foundation on the geographical situational teaching and learning.This part will be discussed in Chap.1th.Then,through the questionnaire surveys which were conducted by the geography teachers,the thesis summaries how geography teachers regard geographical situational teaching and learning as well as the difficulty in implementation in daily teaching.Through analyzing the paper that some predecessors have written and some related essays which were published in the main geography teaching magazine,from the angle of literature analysis,the paper summaries some questions which exist in the implementation of the current geographical situational teaching and learning.This part will be discussed in Chap.2th.And then,the thesis has conducted the research on the core factor of geographical situational teaching and learning-geographical teaching situation, and uses some concrete teaching cases to analyze the utilization of several kinds of geographical situational teaching and learning in daily teaching in order to give more inspiration to the geography teachers.This part will be discussed in Chap.3th and Chap.4th.Finally,the thesis points out some deficiencies in this paper,and proposes some questions which geography teachers need to pay attention to when they implement geographical situational teaching and learning.
