The postgraduates' innovative quality education has been a hot topic that attracts general attention from both the society and the higher education society. With the arrival of the knowledge economy era, postgraduate education in our country is facing a new historical opportunity for development. How to correctly appreciate the implications of innovative quality education for postgraduates under a particular historical period, how to rationally analyze the problems and obstacles faced, how to actively explore proposals and solutions, and how to establish a long-term mechanism of postgraduates' innovative quality education in the new era appropriately have become a subject that our party and our country must think in depth for the strategy of talent development.Since the reformation of the quality education and as the recognition for innovation by human is growing deeper, innovative quality education for postgraduates has gradually formed into certain scales and forms, and has possessed relatively robust mechanism of postgraduates' innovative quality education. The thesis first systematically analyzes the operating system of postgraduates' innovative quality education, the implications, features, operating mechanisms and functions, and then through the combined method of bibliography research and research-analysis, it enumerates on the current status of the mechanism of postgraduates' innovative quality education and points out the problems, for example, the leading and coordinating functions of organizing and leading mechanism are not strong enough; the operating mechanism cannot satisfy the requirements of innovative quality education; the feedback analysis mechanism is incomplete etc. The existence of these problems makes our innovative quality education for postgraduates not able to well bring the proper educational function into play, result the postgraduates not having reached the anticipated outcome in terms of the culture of innovative consciousness, innovative character and innovative capability.Through analyzing and thinking, the thesis proposes the principles and thoughts for establishing a long-term mechanism of postgraduates' innovative quality education. It points out that based on following principles of subjectivity, practicality and entirety, we can build the organizing and leading mechanism of postgraduates' innovative quality education, multi-operating mechanism and long-term feedback analysis mechanism, effectively push postgraduates' quality education forward stably for a long period in facets such as organizing and leading, sense forming, education, building campus culture, training under teachers, assessment and evaluation etc.
