Teacher education is the common name for teacher training, which is the history requirement of teacher's lifelong learning and development. Educational aim is about what kind person they want to train, and the goals of curriculum is about how they train. School-centred teacher training is the educational mode in English, BED and PGCE , both of them have the typical course offering. Therefor, focus on the pre-service teacher education in English, make the comparison with China, is devoted to support reference for the teacher education which orient to be comprehensive, advance, and international.There are five parts in this article. The first part is to introduce the background, the research method, thought and to define some related concept about course offering for pre-service teacher education, The second part trys to compare the course offering for pre-service teacher education in English and China from four aspects: the institution, the curriculum aim, the curriculum structure and the curriculum content. The third part trys to show the characteristic of English pre-service teacher education. The fourth part generallizes the issues which are being in pre-service teacher education in China. The fifth part advances enlightenment for the reform and development of pre-service teacher education in China.
