Education is the foundation of human social progress, the key of the developing andimproving the quality of education is teachers. With the implementation of the basiceducation’s curriculum reform, we need some primary and secondary teachers of higherquality. Many countries in the world are aware of the importance of the teacher education, andthey do more and more researcher about it, the research on teacher education, a core issue is astudy of teacher education curriculum.The paper analyzes the problem from teacher education curriculum aspect, which takesdocumentary method, contrast method and history study method do a comparative research onChinese and India teacher education curriculum, and find out the shortcomings of ourcountry’s teacher education curriculum. We should learn form teacher India teacher educationcurriculum experience, getting some useful suggestions based on the proposed teachereducation curriculum.This study started from the following ideas:In the first Part: The paper analyzes the problem from teacher education curriculum aspectand discusses the origins of this research topics, as well as the research significance. Definesome core concepts, such as teacher education, teacher education curriculum and so on.In the second Part: Do a research on history of Chinese and India teacher educationcurriculum’s development. We know that a country’s history has a great impact on hiscurriculum by analyzing the history of the two countries’ teacher education curriculum’sdevelopment.In the third Part: Describe the teacher education between China and India curriculum, anddiscuss the objects and structure of two countries teacher education curriculum. The contentcan be divided into general courses, professional courses and education courses.In the fourth Part: Do a detailed comparison of the teacher education between China andIndia from the objects, curriculum system, curriculum implementation. Through thecomparative research, we find that the India teacher education curriculum also has manyadvantages that we can learn, and point out the shortcomings of our country’s teacher education curriculum.In the fifth Part: Put forward some enlightenments and suggestions for our country’steacher education curriculum: renewing the guiding ideolody of teacher education, adjustingthe structure and content of the teacher education curriculum, deepening the management andmonitoring of teacher education curriculum.
