Investigation And Countermeasures On Study-Wearied Situation For Students Of Vocational High Schools

In our country, with the vocational education development in full circumstances, the students of vocational high schools become study-wearied more and more seriously. It has become a major concern for the sound development of both vocational education and ?economy of the country. It is necessary to set a high value and solve properly with good efforts. The method of combining proof survey and theory analysis is adopted, According to the investigation on study-wearied situation in Hohhot, this thesis, from the view of pedagogy, psychology and education, analyzes the present situation and the causes: (1) social factor: reverse society culture influence, people's bias against vocational high schools and employment environment; (2) the effects from schools: school system, reasonless course setting, poor quality of teachers, lag of teaching means, limited space of selecting subject, little participation; (3) family factors: the parents' lagged educational conception and deficient educating methods, carelessness about educating children, unclear recognition to their duty in educating their children, spoil their children, poor quality of family members, single-parent families; (4) the factors that is related to students' themselves: unclearness of study goal, poor rudimentary knowledge, lack of methods of study and low ambition. At last, according to the results of the analysis and the survey, propose some specific and practical Countermeasures: to improve the social environment; to construct a good family educational environment and strengthen the management to students; to develop the teaching reform deeply, to promote quality of the teachers, to build good study atmosphere, to educate students' to adopt the correct attitude towards study. Document research, questionnaires and interviews are adopted in this thesis.The conclusions for this research are as follows: (1) The situation that students of vocational high schools in Hohhot who are fed up with studies is very common and serious as well. (2) The reasons for such situation are caused by many factors and these factors act with others to bring about the result of study-weary. To solve this problem of study-weary, schools, families, society and students are needed to take initiative coordinately and comprehensively.
