Based on secondary vocational school teaching, this paper surveys and analyses the current situation of Chinese teaching and learning in secondary vocational schools. Taking many factors into account, this paper compares secondary vocational school teaching with high middle school teaching, focusing on the fundamental, applicable and humanity values and approaches of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools, thus makes the conclusion that secondary vocational Chinese teaching should makes a balance between humanity and application.First, this paper surveys the current situations of Chinese teaching and learning in secondary vocational schools, analyses its main characteristics: the trend of marginal and applied, the gap between students' practical level and the requests of teaching program., the arbitrariness of the text appliance, obsolescence of teaching conceptions and methods, the ineffective teaching effects.Then the paper analyses the bases of justifiable and scientific positioning. The bases are: the goal of Chinese curriculum, the aim of secondary vocational school teaching, the practical predicament and the learning of good experience. And then, this paper draw the conclusion that Chinese curriculum in secondary vocational schools should set great store by foundation, application and humanity which basic on the aim of secondary vocational school teaching and the needs of student's personal development.At last, this paper discourses upon the creational practice of Chinese curriculum orientation.
