With the development of information technology in education, the ability of using educational technology has become an important aspect in judging a teacher's professional proficiency. Standards of Educational Technology of China (SETC) issued on 2004, Clearly stresses the need to improve teacher education technology. It provides foundation and theoretical guide for cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology in college. But, at present, there are a lot of problems in cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology. Blended learning combines C-learning with the advantages of E-learning. According to students' requirements and contents of studying, it can not only emphasize the leading effect of teachers, but also develop students' ability of self-learning enthusiasm completely, so that improve students' quality and effect of studying. On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the problems that exist in cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology, combining the advantages of E-learning with blended learning. The purpose of this thesis is to explore a blended learning method that is suitable to cultivate normal school students' ability of educational technology in border areas in Yunnan Province, in order to improve ability of educational technology.The thesis is guided by theory of blended learning. According to Standards of Educational Technology of China(SETC),designing questionnaire and interviewing, investigating the situation of cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology in colleges in border areas in Yunnan Province, analyzing and summarizing the problems, then designing the platform for online course on/the basis of Moodle. It is a suitable blended learning method to cultivate normal school students' ability of educational technology in colleges. By using this method, analyzing and evaluating the final effect of studying, Significance is to improve the normal school students' learning effects and the ability of educational technology.The research indicates that the blended learning method can get high evaluation from students in cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology in colleges in border areas in Yunnan Province. It not only deal with the problems that exists in cultivating the ability of educational technology in C-learning, but also improve teaching efficiency and effect of learning. To some extent, students' abilities of educational technology are improved. It has practical significance in cultivating normal school students' ability of educational technology.
