Research On The Analysis And Evaluation Of College Students' Comprehensive Qualities

In the present world , the competition between countries is just the one between talents, who, serve as the base and safeguard of the competition advantages. Cultivating high-qualified talents is a must to winning in the fierce competition. In the cultivation of high-qualified talents in all walks of life, institutions of higher learning is the main base. The cultivation should be guided by scientific education ideology, carried out by advanced ways and methods and encouraged by an all-around and effective evaluation mechanism. Designing and making a scientific and practical comprehensive qualities evaluation system, not only navigates the cultivation of college students' comprehensive qualities, but also makes quality education work of college students more objective and effective.This thesis is guided bybusiness administration theory. It carries out the methods of questionnaire research, documentary research, AHP, System Analysis and so on, combining theoretical analysis and practical analysis. Based on the extensive research, it first analyses the current situation and causes of college students' comprehensive qualities, and then elaborate the theory base of the evaluation of college students' comprehensive qualities, combining the research rcsults of this area from both domestic and abroad. Next, it tries to construct an effective evaluation index system of college students' comprehensive qualities by the application of AHP. In the end, based on the practical research , it tries to put forward some countermeasures to improve college students' comprehensive qualities.The results and innovations of this thesis are as followed:(1) Defining evaluation index from the need of social development. According to the need of social development, scientific advancement and the working units, it constructs the index system, which is composed of three indexes, the first being ideological quality, academic quality, cultural quality and mental quality.(2) Combining the evaluation methods of qualitative and quantitative . Simple qualitative research is too casual and subjective. But complete quantitative research can't meet the needs of basic education evaluation. Sc this thesis starts from qualitative research, and constructs an evaluation system by the quantitative way.(3) Proposing targeting countermeasures. After the practical research, this thesis targets to put forward suggestions for how to improve college students' qualities.
