As we all know, the development of our society has entered a new stage with the bell rung for the 21st century—the era of knowledge economy. It has become a new topic to promote the harmonious and sustainable development between man and nature. The need for talents is of great importance and urgency in the prosperity of our country, revitalization of our nation and progress of our society. It is very clear that the quantity and quality of talents have a direct impact on the pace of social progress. As an important base training high-quality talents, institutions of higher education are the meeting places for self-motivated and high-spirited young students, so they will inevitably shoulder historical responsibilities. Therefore, in the process of comprehensive promotion of quality education, a very realistic problem will be faced, that is, how can we make a comprehensive, objective and scientific evaluation of the students' quality.Based on the study of the existing comprehensive quality evaluation models for college students and needs of students raised for college students by current social development, the thesis analyzes the deficiencies in the evaluation objectives, content and methods of the original model. This is mainly reflected in two aspects. First, there are too many qualitative analyses and subjective judgements while quantitative analyses are relatively few and rather rough. Second, the index systems are too old-fashioned—the qualities of university students required in the index systems, especially moral quality, qualities of integrity and ability, have been unable to meet the needs of the times. This thesis constucts a comprehensive evaluation index system, which consists of three indexes, the first-class being moral quality, intellectual quality, ability quality, integrity quality as well as physical and mental quality. The index system of determining the weighing coeffient adopts the approach of Analytical Hierarchy Process, which has a higher degree of reliability and lowers the factors of uncertainty to the greatest degree, thus making the final weighing coeffient of the students' qualities well reflect the importance of qualities in today's college students. In order to make a better and comprehensive use of the statistical information, this thesis adopts the general matrix multiplication. In numerical terms, the MATLAB software is applied to have an accurate treatment of the statistical data collected. According to basic knowledge of Statistics, the quality of students is the quality mark described with words, with the characteristics of confusion and uncertainty, so it cannot be measured by accurate numbers. Therefore, in this paper the blur and comprehensive evaluation model is constructed in order to evaluate college students' quality objectively and efficiently. Finally, empirical analysis is conducted, and compared with existing comprehensive evaluation methods of students' quality, constructive advice being raised.
