The Construction Of College And Universitiy Counsellors' Specialization Research

"College and University Counsellors are an important part of the management and teaching,they are the backbone to carry out ideological and political education of university students , they are the organizers, practitioners and mentors of the college students' ideological and political education and daily management. They are also the students' mentors and the intimate friends for students' healthy growth . "Therefore, the counsellors' status and role in colleges and universities can not be ignored.In Jiangsu Province, the colleges and universities have always attached great importance to the construction and development of the counsellors, they have made some achievements, received a lot of valuable experience . However, as some reasons from the system, society and unity there are some problems in the counsellor construction and their working state. We will roughly summed up these issues as "non-professional" performance, and only by the way of professionalization and specialization can we fundamentally solve the problems of college counselors construction and development.By means of literature and investigation methodology, this study summed up the current status of the construction and development of the college counsellors in Jiangsu Province, as well as their work status.We used the theory of Professionalization of teachers, EAP and other related theories as the theoretical foundation, combined with practical survey, and analyzed the current problems.Finally, we tried to find out targeted innovative, and practical implementation strategy.
