On Building A School—based Curriculum Culture

With the economic society developing and changing, serious education competing and new basic education curriculum system reform deeply going, modern school development has been made facing a completely new and different situation. More and more schools realize the importance and necessity of school culture construction on their way of developing. So they are conscious and trying harder to carry on the school culture construction independently during the school curriculum reform and thus makes itself the conductor in the process. The school culture construction becomes a strategy as a school itself to survive and grow better in the future. Curriculum culture as a part of school culture which is also the main and very important center of it can reach to the nearest inside and clearest reality of a school carrying out its everyday curriculum and teaching activities right in class, which connects all the three as a whole to succeed and make progress far more greater during a school's surviving and developing process as, and for itself .The basic education curriculum reform is a wholly, completely deepest re-construction of a school culture in fact, in such a way it can finally change the school culture and make the school develop faster and further at lat. But at present our country's scholars and school managers are not very clear about school-based curriculum system for some reasons, so what we can do and how we can carry it on has been an important problem.This research aims to analyze the unique characteristics and special functions of school-based curriculum culture from culture through theory, comparison and research methods in modern time.
