Professional development of teachers has more than 300 years history, especially after 1960s, professional development of teachers has become a strong trend, so it is an important strategy to improve our higher vocational colleges teachers'quality that promoting the professional development of higher vocational colleges teachers. This essay mainly focus on the situations and problems of young higher vocational colleges teacher professional development, combining the theory of teacher professional development and career cycle etc., and puts forward the countermeasures for improving young higher vocational teachers professional development in Hebei. Hope that this research can help to improve the level of teacher professional development in Hebei higher vocational colleges, and ultimately promote the development of higher vocational education.This essay is divided into five parts. The first part which is introduction includes the origin of the problem, significance of the research, research innovations, research methods and ideas, relevant literature review. The second part is an overview of teacher professional development. It recalls the historical process of teacher professional development, clearly defines the concept of young higher vocational teacher professional development by learning the concept of teacher professional development, and explores the inner structure of teacher professional development. The third part is the analysis about impact factors of young higher vocational teacher professional development. This section analyzes and presents the factors of young higher vocational teacher professional development on the basis of the relevant theories. It includes social environmental factors, higher vocational college environmental factors, individual environmental factors, teachers'internal factors. The fourth part is current situation about young higher vocational teacher professional development in Hebei province. It knows current situation and problems of Hebei young higher vocational teacher professional development by investigating six higher vocational schools in Hebei province. The fifth part is countermeasures for improving young higher vocational teacher professional development in Hebei. It involves three aspects of the society, schools and teachers.In a word, young higher vocational teacher professional development not only relates young teachers in higher vocational education, but also relates a large number of factors, it is a project about teacher professional development, so it needs participation and support from society, all levels of higher vocational education and higher vocational colleges.
