Vocational education,as a way of education which is needed by the social economic development,is becoming a type of education that is more and more concerned by society.According to Jiang Dayuan,scholar of Chinese vocational education,“vocational education is a kind of ‘dual qualification education'”,On this basis,work particularity of vocational education teachers is becoming prominent.The difference between vocational education teachers and general education teacher is that vocational education teachers are “dual-qualification” teachers-they should not only play “the role of teacher” that meets the needs of vocational education and teaching but also play “the role of technical worker” possessing professional and technical titles or qualifications of different levels.Writer of the paper summarizes and sorts through development problems of“dual-qualification” teachers based on the research of earlier stage researchers and confusion of career development faced by a majority of young teachers around in vocational colleges.The author determines to adopt qualitative research as method and take three young teachers of a higher vocational college in Gansu as research objects.Such methods as interview,observation,and material objects collection etc are adopted to discover problems and attempt to make certain interpretations.The model “from individual to general” is used to positively establish policies and advices which adapts to development of “dual-qualification” young teachers in higher vocational colleges.This study is divided into 4 parts in total.The first part: Introduction,it focuses on reasons for choosing the topic,purpose and significance of study.relevant literature review,it systematically sorts through relevant concept and present research situation of “dual-qualification” teachers of higher vocational colleges as well as reflections on research formed by writer on this basis.introducing the methods and ideas of the study as well as the sample objects.The second part: the author visits the sample object-three young teacher of J College in Gansu and get involved in their work and life through interview,observation and material objects collection so as to discover difficulty situation in development of “dual-qualification”.The third part: conclusion of research,returning to the problem itself and seeking solutions,countermeasures and advices.The fourth part: research reflection,in process of writing thesis and research,the reflection of author and deficiencies.
