| Since 1980s, professional development of teachers has become a hot topic in the field of education. With the development of teachers'professional development, the topic of strategies of teachers'professional development becomes a problem attracting more attention. Seeing from the abroad and our homeland, the scholars discussed the strategies of teachers'professional development from the angles of teachers, the environment of school and the social environment. The study introduces another strategy----construction of professional learning community under the circumstance.In the 1980s, facing to the questions that appeared in the field of American education, the educators began to study the reasons of these questions, and explored how to improve the educational actuality. Therefore, as a strategy of improvement of education and teaching,"learning community"was introduced to the field of education. The conclusion of this study is that professional learning community promotes professional development of teachers at the side of individual and colony of teachers. The study employs documentary, cases analysis and compare to study the topic. The study includes the introduction, the body (four chapters) and the conclusion.Introduction: mainly introduces the background of the topic, the means of study, the meaning of the topic and the summarization of the former scholars. Thereinto, the summarization includes the abroad and the domestic scholars'study on the concept, function and the strategies of professional learning community.Chapter One: the introduction of the relative concept and theories. It mainly compares the relative concepts, and the type, and the characteristics of professional learning community and the elements of influencing the professional development of teachers briefly.Chapter Two: professional learning community: an effective way to promote teachers professional development. It is the important part of the study, mainly introduces the function of professional learning community. Professional learning community is an effective way of professional development, and promotes the individual development and the colony development of teachers, provides the emotional sustain and builds a flat for professional development.Chapter Three: analysis of two cases of the USA and England. It is the difficult part of the study, mainly introduces two cases of America and England about professional learning community, analyses the effect and the revelation of two cases to the educational practice of China. The Comer School Development Program and the Networked Learning Community's revelation appears the students, progress and result-centered, the participants and the using modern technology.Chapter Four: the obstacle in the construction of professional learning community in our country and the strategies. It is the creative part of this study, mainly analyses the obstacle of professional learning community in China, and introduces the strategies of constructing professional learning community from the angles of the teachers, the principal of the school and the cooperative atmosphere as following: the principal should provide some sustaining conditions; the teachers should improve their ability for building professional learning community; the principal and the teachers should work for cooperative atmosphere.Conclusion: mainly introduces the advantages and disadvantages of the study in order to improve in the future study.To sum up, in the practice of education in China, there are many problems in the construction of professional learning community. So we can extract the experience from the abroad countries, enlarge the extension of the participants in the community and make good use of modern technology to improve the knowledge of the teachers. Meantime, the principal should improve their communicating ability, provide sustaining conditions for the teachers and work for the cooperative atmosphere. In a word, in order to carry through the professional development more successfully, the principal, the teachers and other relative staff should construct the professional learning community, which is an effective way. |
